Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To discuss the methods of quality control of outpatient pharmacy based on JCI standard in order to improve the work and service quality.
METHODS Combined with JCI standard and grade hospital evaluation standard, C-B-A 3 levels progressive objectives and evaluation indicators of quality control were set up, and the results of quality control in outpatient pharmacy from May to September in 2015 were summarized and analyzed.
RESULTS Quality control activities were conducted according to evaluation indicator of level C, which including 16 items totally, and 6 items had problems. These 6 items were respectively pharmacy environment, medication storage, fire safety; management of medication expiry date; management of special medication; management of high-risk medication; management of cold-storage medication; process management. And the deduction marks of the front 4 items accounted for more than 80% of the total deduction marks.
CONCLUSION Quality, safety and consistent quality improvement, which are the core ideas of JCI standard, can be used into drug quality control activities to continuously ensure the management quality of pharmacy.
