Abstract: A-64-year-old mant with acute peritonitis received an IV infusion of cefoxitin sodium 2.0g in 0.9% sodium chloride 100ml. About 8 days after cefoxitin sodium infusion the patient experienced drug-induced liver injury. The liver function returned to normal received an IV infusion of Polyene phosphorylcholine after 4 days.
