Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To study the chemical constituents from Shuanghua Baihe tablets. METHODS The compounds were isolated and purified by the methods of macroporous resin, C
18, Sephadex LH-20, MCI column chromatography, and the structures were elucidated by the means of HPLC, TLC and spectral analysis, and physiochemical properties. RESULTS Eight compounds were isolated and identified as chlorogenic acid (Ⅰ), magnoflorine (Ⅱ), columbamine (Ⅲ), epiberberine (Ⅳ), coptisine (Ⅴ), jatrorrhizine (Ⅵ), berberine (Ⅶ), and palmatine (Ⅷ). All the isolates were assigned to herbs. CONCLUSION Compound Ⅰ belongs to Lonicera Japonica Flos, and compounds Ⅱ-Ⅷ belong to Coptis Rhizoma.
