Abstract: OBJECTIVE To observe the efficacy of Qianlieshu Granule combined levofloxacin on chronic prostatitis. METHODS Selected 218 cases of type Ⅲ prostatitis patients, randomly divided into treatment group and control group. Control group were administrated with ofloxacin, then treatment group were administrated with ofloxacin and Qianlieshu Granule. mental counseling and life guidance were taken for both of them. the clinical effect of chronic prostatitis, therapeutic effect of TCM syndrome type and CPSI score of two groups were observed. RESULTS Compared with before treatment, two groups CPSI total score and scores decreased significantly(P<0.01); Compared with control group, treatment group total effective rate and cure rate increased significantly(P<0.05). therapeutic effect of TCM syndrome type (hot and humid betting, diseases with ease, qi and blood stasis, spleen and kidney deficiency) of treatment group were improved significantly compared with control group(P<0.05). CONCLUSION Qianlieshu Granule combined ofloxacin and mental counseling and life guidance, could effectively treat type Ⅲ prostatitis, curative effect is good.
