Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To explore one case of clinical pharmacist participating in pharmaceutical care for patient with liver injury caused by gestational hyperthyroidism. METHODS Tracing the diagnosis and treatment process of one patient who had liver injury and gestational hyperthyroidism. According to the medical history and inspections during pregnancy to analyze the cause of liver injury and gestational hyperthyroidism, and then gave the rationalization suggestion for clinical medication. RESULTS Patient suffered from liver injury caused by gestational hyperthyroidism. As the pregnancy time went by, the patient’s thyroid function was improved markedly without drug intervention. Through the combined use of two drugs in the treatment of liver injury, the liver function also gradually returned to normal with the improvement of hyperthyrodidism. CONCLUSION Clinical pharmacist participating in drug treatment for patient with liver injury caused by gestational hyperthyroidism can promote rational use of drugs in the clinic, improve the safety use of drugs in pregnant women.
