Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To explore the clinical efficacy of hemoperfusion therapy combined with cyclophosphamide in the treatment of patients with paraquat poisoning. METHODS Sixty-six patients of paraquat poisoning were randomly divided into HP group and combination therapy group. The patients of the HP group were treated by hemoperfusion therapy, while the combination therapy groups were treated by hemoperfusion therapy combined with cyclophosphamide. The white blood cells, serum creatinine, serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase, serum creatine kinase, liver and kidney function, mortality and survival time of the death were ompared in two groups. RESULTS The white blood cells, serum creatinine, serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase, serum creatine kinase, liver and kidney function and mortality of hemoperfusion therapy combined with cyclophosphamide were lower than hemoperfusion therapy only. The differences were statistically significant(
P<0.05). The survival time of the death of hemoperfusion therapy combined with cyclophosphamide were higher than hemoperfusion therapy only. The differences were statistically significant(
P<0.05). CONCLUSION For the treatment paraquat poisoning, the clinical efficacy of hemoperfusion therapy combined with cyclophosphamide is satisfied, which is worthy of promoting.
