Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To develop a quality controllable method for rancid pollen brassicae. METHODS Rancid samples could be picked out by determining acidity and peroxide value and studying appearance properties of the medicinal materials to control the quality of pollen brassicae strictly. RESULTS The rancid samples had sour, dark color, pH<4.5 and peroxide value was >0.2. CONCLUSION A quality controllable method for rancid pollen brassicae has been primary developed by determining properties, acidity and peroxide value.
