Abstract: OBJECTIVE To observe curative effect of Shenxiong Glucose injection jointed with cefoperazone/sulbactam in treatment acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD). METHODS All of 104 cases of Ⅰ and Ⅱ level of AECOPD patients were randomly divided into experimental group and control group with 52 cases in each group. On the basis of routine use of oxygen, relieving a cough, relieving asthma and spasm, making heart strong, diuresis and correcting electrolyte and acid-base imbalances, the control group was given cefoperazone/sulbactam by intravenous drip, 2 g each time, 2 times a day. The experimental group based on the control group were pluged Shenxiong Glucose injection by intravenous drip, 100 mL each time, once time a day. The total course of treatment was 7-14 d. Checked pulmonary function, blood gas analysis and improve of life quality, the bacterial clearance rate, etc. after treatment in two groups. The differences between two groups were analyzed by statistical method. RESULTS Total effectiveness rate was 88.46% in the treatment group, which was 73.08% in the control group(P<0.05). And the bacterial clearance rates was 88.00% in the treatment group, which was 66.67% in the control group(P<0.05). Compared with the control group, experimental group could significantly improve lung function, increase p(O₂) and reduce p(CO₂), improve the quality of life index(P<0.05). During the treatment there were no serious adverse reactions. CONCLUSION Shenxiong Glucose injection combined with cefoperazone/aulbactam treatment in AECOPD assures curative effects, less complications and less adverse effects.
