Abstract: OBJECTIVE To evaluate the clinical effect and safety of Xin-Nao-Mai-Shu oral liquid. METHODS All of 200 cases in-patients diagnosed coronary heart disease were divided into Xin-Nao-Mai-Shu oral liquid group and control group randomly to observe the effect of Xin-Nao-Mai-Shu oral liquid. Some objective indicators results like international normalized ratio, platelet count, blood pressure(systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure), C-reaction protein before and after given Xin-Nao-Mai-Shu oral liquid were recorded and seattle angina questionnaire was used to assess the body function and quality of life before and after treatment, respectively. RESULTS Blood pressure change in two groups of patients had significant difference(P<0.05). Those in the case group took Xin-Nao-Mai-Shu oral liquid, whose systolic and diastolic blood pressure reduced significantly than the control group. Patients had stabler angina symptoms than those in the control group. CONCLUSION The Xin-Nao-Mai-Shu oral liquid has good curative effect in reducing blood pressure by improving angina tolerance.
