Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To explore a scientific, objective, efficient hospital integrated management system for the rational use of antibiotics. To enhance antimicrobial management of our hospital, further promote effectively rational use of drugs.
METHODS Research and develop a set of antimicrobial drugs integrated management system, relying on HIS date and Rule Builder, based on calculate methods of rational drug use indicators of medical institutions, to compare before and after the application of antibiotics, AUD, the use of antimicrobial agents fees accounted for the percentage of drug costs and antibacterial drug use reasonable rate of using integrated management system of antimicrobial drugs.
RESULTS The utilization rate of antibiotics and the reasonable rate of antimicrobial drugs were 59.26% and 18.13% respectively before using the integrated management system, then after using the system the rate were 51.53% and 15.41%(
P<0.01). And the AUD declined by 14%. The reasonable rate of antimicrobial drugs increased from 81.07% to 93.13% (χ
2=21.18,
P<0.000 1).
CONCLUSION Carrying on integrated management system of antimicrobial drugs relying on Rule Builder can improve the quality of management and statistical efficiency of the hospital-wide use of antibacterial drugs, then promote the rational application of antibacterial drugs.
