Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To identify Lonicerae Flos resources and to provide the quality evaluation for promoting the rational development and utilization of Lonicera Linn. in Guangxi. METHODS Based on the traits of buds in Bama and Xincheng, the character identification and microscopical characteristics were used to confirm the differences of two kinds of Lonicerae Flos. Chlorogenic acid, the main efficacy component in Lonicerae Flos, was identified through TLC analysis. The content of chlorogenic acid in Lonicerae Flos from different areas was determined by HPLC. RESULTS Lonicerae Flos from Xincheng was Lonicera hypoglauca Miq. Lonicerae Flos from Bama was Lonicera confuse DC. The content of chlorogenic acid in Xincheng and Bama was 27.258 1 mg·g
-1 and 15.975 8 mg·g
-1, respectively. CONCLUSION The method is feasible, which can provide objective and comprehensive evaluation, also can provided academic basis for screening high yield and quality of Lonicerae Flos in Guangxi.
