Abstract: OBJECTIVE To study the status of clinical pharmacist work in oncology department in China, and to provide reference for the development of clinical pharmacist work. METHODS Fifty-two pieces of literatures about clinical pharmacist work were retrieved and analyzed in respect of published time, the journals, research contents, and research methods. RESULTS The amount of literatures increased year by year. Literatures were published on 26 kinds of biomedical journals, especially core journals such as Chinese Journal of Hospital Pharmacy, China Pharmacy, Medical Herald, Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal and Chinese Pharmacist. The methods adopted in literatures mainly included review and practical report. The literatures of practical report significantly increased since 2010. CONCLUSION Although the work of clinical pharmacists has made some progress since 2000, the practice work of clinical pharmacists in China is still at the exploration stage. It needs further study to establish an effective training path and pharmaceutical care evaluation system for clinical pharmacists.
