Abstract: OBJECTIVE To establish an HPLC method for content determination of naringin in Xiqigushang tablet. METHODS The assay was performed on Phenomenex Luna C18 column(250 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm) by UV detector at 283 nm with acetonitrile-0.05% glacial acetic acid (20∶80) as the mobile phase at the flow rate of 1.0 mL·min^-1, column temperature at 30 ℃. RESULTS The amount of naringin was linear with its area over the range of 0.123 0-1.025 2 μg(r=0.999 7), the average recovery and relative standard deviation of naringin were 98.6%, RSD=0.90%(n=6). CONCLUSION The method is sensitive, accurate and can be used for the quality control of Xiqigushang tablet.
