Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the effects of Yixin Jiannao granule on learning memory and antioxidation ability of AD mice. METHODS The mice were randomized into control group, model group, administration group(high-dose group, medium-dose group, and low-dose group).
D-galactose and β-AP25-35 were injected into mice to establish AD mice model. Morris water maze test was used to observe the effects of Yixin Jiannao granule on learning and memory result of mice with AD, and MDA, SOD, GSH, GSH-Px content in serum, liver and brain of AD mice were determined. RESULTS Compared with control group, in model group, the scores of learning and memory of AD mice decreased significantly, the content of MDA in serum, liver and brain of AD mice significantly increased, and the SOD, GSH, GSH-Px content obviously declined. Compared with model group, in administration group, the ability of learning memory of AD mice improved, MDA content decreased, and the content of SOD, GSH, GSH-Px increased.
