Abstract: OBJECTIVE To give some advices on establishing National Essential Medicines System under the circumstance of New Health Reform. METHODS Several typical countries’ production, selection, procurement and distribution in essential medicines were compared. RESULTS We can gradually improve National Essential Medicine System and select the most appropriate essential medicines by drawing on international experience. CONCLUSION We have a long way to improve National Essential Medicine System, and need to be paid more attention and support from our country.
