Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To establish the oscillating fingerprints of Rhizome Curcuma from different areas, and the curcuma Zhejiang medicinal materials by oscillating technology. METHODS The characteristic elements of revulsion time, oscillating life, first oscillating period, toppest voltage, toppest amplitude and balance voltage of the fingerprints were applied by the principal components analysis and cluster analysis for identifying the four samples. RESULTS The results of cluster analysis showed that the samples could be clustered reasonably into four groups and the oscillating fingerprints distribution characteristics are related to the habitats of Rhizome Curcuma. CONCLUSION The principal component analysis and cluster analysis of the oscillating fingerprints could be used in distinguish herbal medicines and medicinal materials of Rhizome Curcuma.
