Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To establish a high performance liquid chromatographic method for the determination of p-hydroxycinnamic acid and hyperoside in Qianbai Biyan tablets. METHODS The chromatographic separation was achieved on a Dikma Diamonsil-C
18(250 mm×4.6 mm, 5 µm) column at a variable wavelength from 310 nm (0-25 min) to 360 nm (25-35 min) using an isocratic mobile phase consisted of a mixture of 0.2% aqueous acetic acid and acetonitrile in the ratio of 85∶15 at a flow rate of 1.0 mL·min
-1. RESULTS Linearity relationships were 0.014 088-1.174 µg (
r=0.999 9),0.009 55-1.91 µg (
r=0.999 9), respectively; the average recoveries were 101.17%(RSD=1.35%) and 100.89% (RSD=3.80%). CONCLUSION The results showed that the method is simple, accurate and repeatable and it is suitable for the determination of p-hydroxycinnamic acid and hyperoside in Qianbai Biyan tablets.
