Abstract: OBJECTIVE:To modify the synthetic method of sibutramine hydrochloride.METHOD:Sibutramine hydrochloride was synthesized from 4-chlorophenylacetonitrile by reactions of cycloalkylation,Grignard reaction,reduction,Eschweiler Clarke methylation and salifying
