Abstract: 2-diethylaminoethyl chloride. an important intermediate of drugs. Was prepared in 75.3% yicld from 2-dicthylaminoethanol by chlorination with equivalence molecule SOCl2.The effect of solvents, temperature and amount of SOCl2 for reaction was observed.
