Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To study the chemical constituents in
Inula japonica Thunb.
METHODS A variety of separation technologies were used for the isolation of compounds, and their structures were identified by physical properties and spectroscopic techniques (NMR, IR, UV and MS).
RESULTS Eleven compounds, chrysoeriol(Ⅰ), patuletin(Ⅱ), quercetin(Ⅲ), luteolin(Ⅳ), kaempferol(Ⅴ), inuchinenolide C(Ⅵ), britannilactone(Ⅶ), daucosterol(Ⅷ), β-sitosterol(Ⅸ), britanin(Ⅹ) and ivangustin(Ⅺ), were obtained from
Inula japonica Thunb.
CONCLUSION Compound Ⅰ was isolated from this genus for the first time.
