Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To establish a method for determining the contents of caffeic acid(CA), chlorogenic acid(CGA) and ferulic acid(FA) in dandelion by HPCE.
METHODS Dandelion was determined at 325 nm using HPCE, under the optimized conditions achieved with an elastic fused-sillia capillary tube(75 μm×57 cm) and 20 mmol·L
-1 borate running buffer solution (pH 9.55) at a constant voltage of 18 kV and injecting pressure time of 5 s at 25 ℃.
RESULTS The calibration curve displayed good linear relationship within CA, CGA, FA concentration range of 0.010 2-0.081 8 mg·mL
-1, 0.008 1-0.065 0 mg·mL
-1, 0.000 6-0.004 5 mg·mL
-1. The average recovery was 98.8%, 98.9%, 97.8%, RSD was 1.12%, 1.21%, 1.46%, respectively.
CONCLUSION This method is simple, rapid, accurate and good repeatability in separation and determination of CA, CGA, FA in dandelion.
