    Research Progress on the Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacological Action, and Drug Development of Phloretin

    • 摘要: 根皮素是一种存在于多种水果和蔬菜中的类黄酮化合物,具有丰富的药理活性。根皮素能调节多种信号通路和分子机制,对多种疾病包括癌症、糖尿病和心脑血管疾病等具有治疗作用。此外,根皮素还对肝脏、骨骼和皮肤等组织器官也具有保护作用。根皮素口服主要在小肠吸收,并能迅速分布到脑以外的器官,通过肝脏代谢后经尿液排出体外。然而,根皮素的水溶性差和生物利用度低限制了其在临床中的应用。化学结构的修饰和新药物递送系统的应用将解决根皮素的临床转化问题。本文将从根皮素的药动学特征、药理作用和药物开发进行全面综述,期望能为根皮素的后续研究和开发提供参考。

       

      Abstract: Phloretin is a flavonoid compound found in various fruits and vegetables, with rich pharmacological activities. Phloretin can regulate various signaling pathways and molecular mechanisms, and has therapeutic effects on various diseases including cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. In addition, phloretin also has protective effects on liver, bone, and skin tissues. Phloretin is mainly absorbed in the small intestine after oral administration and can be rapidly distributed to organs other than the brain. After being metabolized by the liver, it is excreted from the body through urine. However, the poor water solubility and low bioavailability of phloretin limit it’s clinical application. Modification of chemical structure and the application of new drug delivery systems will solve the problem of clinical translation of phloretin. This article will provide a comprehensive review of the pharmacokinetic characteristics, pharmacological action, and drug development of phloretin, with the hope of providing reference for subsequent research and development.
