Abstract:
Draconis Sanguis is widely used for its effects of promoting blood circulation and relieving pain, removing blood stasis and hemostasis, and promoting muscle and astringing sores. In this paper, the pharmacological effects and chemical components of Draconis Sanguis were discussed in depth, including flavonoids, volatile oils, organic acids, phenylpropanoids, etc. These components are the material basis of the pharmacological effects of Draconis Sanguis. These findings provide a scientific basis for the wide clinical application of Draconis Sanguis. In this paper, the clinical application of Draconis Sanguis was comprehensively reviewed, including its application in the treatment of ulcers, injuries, traumatic bleeding and so on. In view of the shortcomings of the existing quality evaluation of Draconis Sanguis, this paper further discusses the concept of quality marker(Q-marker) of Draconis Sanguis, and predicts the quality of Draconis Sanguis from four aspects: plant relatives and their component specificity, traditional drug property correlation, traditional drug efficacy correlation and chemical composition measurability, in order to provide reference for improving the quality evaluation system of Draconis Sanguis.
