OBJECTIVE  To Explore the establishment of a medication management system for menopausal joint outpatient services based on an intelligent pharmaceutical platform, providing a reference basis for promoting the joint outpatient service model of hospital pharmacists.

METHODS Taking the menopausal joint outpatient department of a certain hospital as an example, sorted out the consultation process and refine the management process of menopausal related drug intervention. Integrated the intelligent pharmacy platform with the hospital information system workstation, constructed a medication management system information platform, and combined with menopausal related medication treatment management plans to establish a medication management database. Through the platform for layered intervention, specialized file management, and regular follow-up, a continuous and traceable information management system was formed.

RESUILS Based on the intelligent pharmaceutical platform, a patient medication management database had been established, and Xiangtan Central Hospital had preliminarily established a menopausal joint outpatient medication management system. By virtue of the platform advantages, the development priorities of each link were sorted out, continued to do a good job in the information construction of the menopausal joint clinic network, and promoted the development of joint clinic work after the integration of "Internet plus" and intelligent pharmaceutical platform.

CONCLUSION Implementing the important goals and spirit of the national strategy for a healthy China, relying on platforms to optimize the working mode of menopausal joint clinics, establishing a distinctive medication management system for menopausal joint clinics, innovating clinical service models, and providing certain reference for other medical institutions.
