Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To explore dynamic variation patterns of secondary metabolites in Dendrobium officinale at different months, and to provide data for the precision utilization of Dendrobium officinale resources.
METHODS Secondary metabolites of Dendrobium officinale were rapidly identified using UPLC-Q-TOF-MS combined with molecular networking, and the relative contents of phenols, flavonoids, and other compounds of Dendrobium officinale for 12 consecutive months were analyzed.
RESULTS A total of 9 categories and 56 types of secondary metabolites were identified, and phenols, flavones, and terpenoids reached highest relative contents in November.
CONCLUSION November can be regarded as the potential optimal harvesting time for Dendrobium officinale, and this study is conducive to maximizing the utilization of Dendrobium officinale resources.
