Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To quickly identify the components of Massa Medicata Fermentata(MMF) and explore the main ingredients and their activities.
METHODS Using HPLC-Q-TOF-MS and global natural products social molecular networking(GNPS) analysis, the chemical composition of MMF was identified by matching databases such as Lipidomics, HMBD, METLIN and so on. Based on literature data, mass spectrometry fragmentation patterns, and GNPS molecular network analysis, the anti-inflammatory effect of MMF total lipids was evaluated using cellular inflammation experiments.
RESULTS A total of 72 chemical components were identified from MMF, including flavonoids, sesquiterpenes, sphingolipids, glycerols, and substituted benzenes. The total lipids accounted for a large proportion and exhibited anti-inflammatory activity.
CONCLUSION The 10 types of components found in MMF, including phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolamine, galactose glycerides, and monoterpenes, have not been reported before, of the 72 components identified, 63 were identified from MMF for the first time except compound 8, 9, 11−15, 21, 22, which provides basic data for the study of the fermentation mechanism and active components of MMF.
