Abstract:
Through consulting ancient Tibetan herbs and Tibetan medical books, combined with modern literature, the translated name, basic origin, medicinal parts, sexual taste and efficacy of "Oubei" medicinal materials were examined. The results showed that "Oubei" was mainly derived from
Meconopsis quintuplinervia Regel and
Meconopsis punicea Maxim.,
Meconopsis integrifolia (Maxim.) French., and 14 species of plants in the family Poppyaceae. Among them, "Oubei Wanbao" includes 5 kinds of
Meconopsis, "Oubei Mabao" includes 3 species of
Meconopsis, "Oubei Saibao" includes 4 species of
Meconopsis, and "Oubei Gabao" includes 2 species of
Meconopsis. The taste of "Oubei" are sweet, bitter and astringent, the nature of "Oubei" are cold and cool. The efficacies include clearing heat and detoxification, anti-inflammatory and analgesic, diuretic, especially good clear liver and lung fever. It is used to treat various symptoms such as liver and lung fever, hepatitis, pneumonia, edema and so on. The characteristics of the "graded" recording of ancient Tibetan herbal medicines are one of the main reasons for the multi-base origin of Tibetan medicinal materials such as "Oubei". "Oubei" is mainly distributed in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau covered by the five provinces of Tibet, Qinghai, Gansu, Sichuan and Yunnan, and its habitat is mostly found in grassland, shrubland, understory and flowing stone beach. At present, a variety of
Meconopsis is endangered. This study aims to provide an important reference for the conservation of wild resources and the development and utilization of Tibetan medicine.
