Abstract:
Androgenetic alopecia is a common type of hair loss, showing backward hairline migration and the transformation of thick colored hair into soft and colorless vellus hair. Androgenetic alopecia usually begins in the later stages of youth. However, with the increasing of life pressure in today's society, the proportion of androgen alopecia is gradually increasing and showing a trend of younger age. Although hair loss does not endanger life, but it brings a great psychological burden to the patients, even causing serious appear depression and then affecting the normal life. Therefore, this paper reviews the pathogenesis of androgen alopecia and the current treatment progress, to provide help in the treatment of androgen alopecia.
