中药调节铁死亡抑制肿瘤的研究进展

    Progress of Traditional Chinese Medicine that Targeting Ferroptosis to Inhibit Tumor

    • 摘要: 铁死亡是一种铁依赖性的脂质过氧化、活性氧自由基大量累积所致的新型细胞死亡模式,不同于凋亡、焦亡、坏死和自噬。铁死亡与多种生理学过程密切相关,包括发育、衰老、免疫与肿瘤,尤其在肿瘤抑制中起重要调控作用。大量研究表明,中药可通过谷胱甘肽/谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶4途径、铁代谢、脂质代谢等机制诱导肿瘤细胞铁死亡,从而抑制肿瘤发展。本文就中药调节铁死亡抑制肿瘤的前沿研究进行综述,以期为中药抗肿瘤的机制研究提供参考依据。

       

      Abstract: Ferroptosis is a new type of cell death, which caused by iron-dependent lipid peroxidation and reactive oxygen species accumulation. It is different from apoptosis, pyroptosis, necrosis, and autophagy. Ferroptosis is closely related to a variety of biological conditions, including development, aging, immunity and tumor, and plays an important regulatory role in suppressing tumor progression. A large number of studies have shown that traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) can induce ferroptosis of tumor cells through the glutathione/glutathione peroxidase 4 pathway, iron metabolism, lipid metabolism and other mechanisms so as to prevent the development of tumor. In view of this, this paper reviewed the latest research on TCM that inhibit tumor progression by targeting ferroptosis to provide references for the anti-tumor mechanism study of TCM.
