Abstract: OBJECTIVE To implement the "four strictest" effectively, perform the responsibility of local government drug safety supervision, sort out the construction of drug control system, summarize experience, find deficiencies and strengthen system construction. METHODS By means of questionnaire, field investigation, conference discussion and individual interview, the institutes of drug control in the drug supervision system were investigated. Relevant information materials were collected, existing problems were analyzed, preliminary practical results were elaborated and countermeasures for continuous improvement were put forward. RESULTS The construction of drug control system were strengthened and new paths and new methods for the development of drug control system were explored. CONCLUSION Strengthening the construction of drug control system and capacity building plays an important role in promoting the modernization of the drug safety management system and management capacity. It needs continuous improvement to promote the high-quality development of the pharmaceutical industry, strengthen public services and ensure drug safety.
