Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To analyze the concluding projects in the field of pharmacology(H30) of national Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC) in 2018, and discusses the research status of this field, especially the research status of different regions, different types of research institutions and branches of each field, so as to provide reference for scientists in the field of pharmacology to apply for the fund.
METHODS Comprehensive retrieval science fund Shared service network(http://npd.nsfc.gov.cn/), and access to medicine field in 2018, the national natural science fund project has been finished on the surface of all project informationincluding project name, branch, the title, a supporting institution, financing amount, project keywords, book number, patent number, number of reward, the number of published papers, the number was included in science citation index(SCI) papers, Chinese science citation database(CSCD), included paper number, cultivating graduate students. The paper analyzed the completed projects in different regions, the completed projects of different types of scientific research institutions and project leaders with different professional titles, as well as the results and benefits.
RESULTS In 2018, there were 117 completed projects of NSFC in the field of pharmacology, with a total of 82.57 million yuan. The concluding projects were mainly concentrated in the eastern region. According to the statistics of supporting institutions, there were 60 supporting comprehensive universities. According to the statistics of the title of project leaders, 92 projects were presided over and completed by scientific researchers with senior titles, who had certain advantages in the output of major achievements. The research directions of the concluding projects mainly focused on pharmacy and synthetic pharmaceutical chemistry, among which 33 concluding projects were in the field of pharmacy and 31 in the field of synthetic pharmaceutical chemistry.
CONCLUSION With the support of NSFC, remarkable achievements have been made in the field of pharmacology. There is no significant difference in the output efficiency between the eastern and western regions and different types of scientific research institutions. There is no significant difference in the output efficiency of different types of supporting units. The output efficiency of senior scientific researchers has some advantages compared with that of intermediate scientific researchers. The research directions in the field of pharmacology are relatively concentrated.
