Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To observe the effects of collagen type I on tissue regeneration and anti-inflammation in zebrafish model.
METHODS The effect of collagen type I on tissue regeneration was characterized by measuring the regeneration area of zebrafish caudal fin and the relative expression of
col1a1b gene. The anti-inflammatory effect of collagen type I was characterized by measuring the number of neutrophils in the skin of zebrafish.
RESULTS Compared with the model control group, the caudal fin area of zebrafish treated with type I collagen solution increased significantly, while the number of neutrophils in zebrafish decreased significantly. The relative expression of
col1a1b gene in zebrafish treated with type I collagen solution was significantly higher than that in normal control group.
CONCLUSION Type I collagen has the effects of promoting tissue regeneration and anti-inflammation in zebrafish model.
