Abstract: The threat of the COVID-19 pandemic is accelerating the development of vaccines. Currently, a total of 99 COVID-19 vaccines are undergoing clinical evaluation, 22 of these are in Phase III or IV and several vaccines have been approved for emergency use. This study provides an overview of the clinical trials of the COVID-19 vaccines, in order to provide a deep insight into the effectiveness and safety of COVID-19 vaccines.
