Abstract: OBJECTIVE To establish a scientific and systematic evaluation system for the rational use of cancer chemotherapeutic drugs. METHODS The management team of cancer chemotherapeutic drugs in hospital was established. Senior clinicians and pharmacists jointly drafted the criteria for clinical use and evaluation method of chemotherapeutic drugs. Clinical pharmacists commented on the case history of chemotherapy according to the established evaluation criteria. RESULTS Pharmacist's comment broke through the primary mode which was limited to the indication, usage, dosage and pretreatment of chemotherapeutic drugs in the past, and found out the problems from the basic requirements before chemotherapy, the evaluation of chemotherapeutic schemes and the treatment of adverse reactions after chemotherapy. CONCLUSION The evaluation system of rational use of chemotherapeutic drugs established is more comprehensive and detailed in the evaluation indicators, which is suitable for clinical use.
