Abstract: OBJECTIVE To retrospectively research the influence and short-term curative effect of Xiezhuo Jiedu decoction colon dialysis in patients with chronic kidney disease(CKD) stage 4. METHODS The patients of CKD stage 4 were collected in the clinical research from Jan 2017 to Jan 2018. The 65 patients treated with conventional therapy and colon herbs dialysis were selected as tested group, 60 patients with conventional therapy were selected as control group. The improvement in the clinical symptoms and blood biochemical indexes of the two groups were observed. RESULTS Compared with control group, the appetite,weakness of the body, constipation and skin itching symptoms of tested group improved significantly(P<0.05 or P<0.01). Compared with before treatment and control group, Scr, BUN and serum phosphorus of tested group were obviously lower(P<0.05). The total effective rate of tested group(67.7%) was significantly higher than that of control group(48.3%) (P<0.05). CONCLUSION Xiezhuo Jiedu decoction colon dialysis can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and biochemical indexes of the CKD stage 4 patients, the short-term effect is significant.
