Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To calculate the pharmacokinetic parameters of non-compartmental models and analysis bioequivalence by use R software.
METHODS The pharmacokinetic parameters of the non-compartmental model were calculated by the "NonCompart" package in the R software. A linear mixed-effects model was built using the "nlme" package for multivariate analysis of variance. Use the "PowerTOST" package to calculate the 90% confidence interval of geometric mean ratio. The results was compared with the Phoenix WinNonlin 6.4 software.
RESULTS The results of pharmacokinetic parameters of the non-compartmental model and bioequivalence analysis by using the R software were consistent with result which calculated by Phoenix WinNonlin 6.4 software.
CONCLUSION The pharmacokinetic parameters of non-compartmental model calculation and bioequivalence analysis can be achieved by R software and the result is reliable.
