Abstract: Based on the data mining on the application of clinical traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) umbilical compress therapy, combined with clinical practice and modern umbilical compress therapy research, the technical specification for clinical application of TCM umbilical compress therapy(draft) was formed after repeated demonstration by experts of the association. It includes clinical applicable to syndromes, contraindications, pre-medication evaluation, pre-medication preparation, umbilical application method, dosage, frequency, time, precautions, adverse reactions and countermeasures, etc. So as to standardize the clinical application of TCM umbilical compress therapy, improve the curative effect and reduce adverse reactions.
