Abstract: OBJECTIVE To explore the application effect of implementing quality control circle activities to improve the efficiency of temporary treatment of PIVAS parenteral nutrition solution. METHODS In November 2017, 10 pharmacists volunteered to form a quality control circle activity group. According to the PDCA circulation rule, "improving the treatment efficiency of temporary medical orders of PIVAS parenteral nutrition solution" as the theme of the activity. The causes of the low treatment efficiency of the temporary medical orders of PIVAS parenteral nutrition solution were counted and analyzed, the causes were found, and the corrective measures were formulated and implemented. Finally, the tangible and intangible results were evaluated. RESULTS The temporary treatment efficiency of PIVAS parenteral nutrition solution was improved by 46.73 bags increased to 71.81 bags per hour. CONCLUSION The activity of quality control circle is effective to improve the treatment efficiency of temporary medical orders of PIVAS parenteral nutrition solution and to improve the quality management of PIVAS.
