Abstract:
Kudiezi is the dry whole grass of
Ixeris sonchifolia (Bge.) Hance with rich resources in China and a wide range of pharmacological effects. It not only has a good therapeutic effect on cardiovascular diseases, but also attracts more and more attention in the treatment of central nervous system diseases such as cerebrovascular diseases. This review summarizes the new mechanism progress of Kudiezi in the treatment of central nervous system diseases, including clearance of free radicals, inhibition of calcium overload, inflammation-related factors and related pathways, regulatory proteins, etc, so as to promote its further development and application in the treatment of central nervous system diseases.
