Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To explore the role of clinical pharmacists in treatment options for the patient with severe bullous drug eruptions caused by etimicin.
METHODS The clinical pharmacists provided advice on the association of the suspected drugs that resulted in severe bullous drug eruptions and the formulation of anti-infective agent, and assisted the clinicians in setting treatment plans.
RESULTS Physicians adopted the suggestions of clinical pharmacists, the treatment was carried out smoothly, the patients symptoms were better than before, and discharged from the hospital.
CONCLUSION The participation of clinical pharmacists in the formulation of individual medication plan, which promotes rational drug use and guarantee the safety of drug use.
