Abstract: OBJECTIVE To observe the effect of Xiao'er Jianpi cream on the treatment of functional recurrent abdominal pain. METHODS One hundred and twenty children with functional recurrent abdominal pain were divided into two groups:60 cases in treatment group and 60 cases in control group. The treatment group were given acupoint application Xiao'er Jianpi cream of treatment, the control group were taken 654-2 tables and Live Combined Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus and Enterococcus powder. Compared two groups of relieving and disappearing of abdominal pain. RESULTS The effect of the treatment group was superior to the control group. There were significant differences between two groups of abdominal pain disappearance rate, abdominal pain relief and disappearance time(P<0.05). CONCLUSION Xiao'er Jianpi cream is effective in treating functional recurrent abdominal pain through acupoint application. It is simple and convenient, and the child has good compliance.
