Application and Discussion on Ethical Question of CRISPR-Cas9 Gene Editing Technique in Medical Research

摘要: 近期，运用CRISPR基因编辑技术修饰人类胚胎基因，以及基因编辑婴儿事件的出现，引发了学术界以及整个社会对基因编辑技术应用以及伦理问题的争议。本文从CRISPR技术的原理，及其在医学上的应用等各方面简述了基因编辑技术的发展现状及存在的问题。同时，通过分析基因编辑婴儿事件，反思了此项技术应用产生的伦理争议及其可能产生的后果，并提供了解决伦理问题的几点对策。Abstract: Recently, a report of the world's first gene-edited babies shocked the global scientific community and the public. Here we review the discovery and progress of CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing technology and its application in medical research. More importantly, we discuss the effect of gene editing in human embryos and the important ethical issues behind this controversy.
