Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To establish an HPLC method for determine the contents of ephedrine hydrochloride, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, epigoitrin, chlorogenic acid, amygdalin, liquiritin, luteoloside and glycyrrhetic acid in Child Kechuanling granules at the same time.
METHODS A double wavelength HPLC method was performed. The chromatographic separations were achieved on a Agilent ZORBAX SB-C
18 column(4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm). The mobile phase of acetonitrile and 0.1% phosphoric acid solution was used with a gradient elution. The flow rate was 1.0 mL·min
-1 and the column temperature was 30℃. The detector wavelength was 210 nm for ephedrine hydrochloride, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, amygdalin, liquiritin and luteoloside and 245 nm for (R,S)-goitrin, chlorogenic acid and glycyrrhetic acid.
RESULTS Eight constituents were seperated perfectly and good linear relationships were obtained. The recoveries were between 96.23%-100.7%.
CONCLUSION The method is reliable, simple and accurate, and can be used for the quality control of Child Kechuanling granules.
