Abstract: OBJECTIVE To observe the therapeutic effect of Shuwei Yudan capsule combined with omeprazole in the treatment of chronic superficial gastritis and liver-stomach disharmony. METHODS One hundred and two patients with chronic superficial gastritis and liver-stomach disharmony were randomly divided into two groups:the treatment group and the control group (51 cases for each group). The treatment group were treated with Shuwei Yudan capsule combined with omeprazole, the control group were given omeprazole. In the control group, patients with helicobacter pylori were treated with amoxicillin capsule and clarithromycin capsule accessorially, and patients with helicobacter pylori in the treatment group were not treated with other drugs accessorially. The treatment group and control group were taking 2 weeks for a course of treatment. RESULTS the effective rate of the treatment group was 94.12%. the effective rate of the control group was 78.43%. There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05). there was statistical significance(P<0.05) of symptoms integral before and after treatment in two groups. The serum prostaglandin E2, somatostatin and epidermal growth factor in the treatment group were significantly different from those in the control group(P<0.05). CONCLUSION There is significant effect of Shuwei Yudan capsule in the treatment of chronic superficial gastritis and liver-stomach disharmony, it is worthy of clinical application.
