Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To develop a method for identification of plastic infusion products of high risk by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC).
METHODS The initial temperature was 40℃, then heated to 200℃ by 20℃·min
-1, cooled to 40℃ by 20℃·min
-1, then heated to 200℃ by 10℃·min
-1, recorded the DSC spectrum.
RESULTS PP infusion bottles, combinational closures of PP for plastic infusion containers (with ring-pull) (inner closure), 3-layer co-extrusion film (bag) for infusion, 5-layer co-extrusion film (bag) for infusion showed specific DSC spectrum, respectively.
CONCLUSION This method is accurate, sensitive, simple, it can be used for identification of plastic infusion products of high risk.
