Retrospective Study of Drug Use Evaluation in Patients Using Linezolid

OBJECTIVE To establish drug use evaluation criteria of linezolid, evaluate the rationality of drug therapy, and develop the medical therapeutic level. METHODS With retrospective researching methods, from 2010 January to December, 29 patients’ records who took the drug therapy of linezolid were selected and studied. The standard of drug use evaluation in patients using linezolid was developed to evaluate the rationality of clinical therapy. RESULTS With the DUE standard of linezolid, the use of linezolid was synthetically evaluated in three respects: using reason, using method and therapeutic result. CONCLUSION DUE is one of the effective ways for clinical pharmacists to interfere with drug rational use. Clinical pharmacists can cooperate with the doctors to promote the rational use of linezolid.
