Determination of Asperosaponin Ⅵ in Yugu Liaoshang Capsule by HPLC

OBJECTIVE To determine asperosaponin Ⅵ in Yugu Liaoshang capsule by HPLC. METHODS The chromatography procedure was carried out using Kromasil ODS-1 C₁₈ (4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm) as an analytic column and a mixture of 30 volume of acetonitrile, 70 volume of water as a mobile phase at a flow rate of 1.0 mL·min^-1. The detection wavelength was set at 210 nm. RESULTS Asperosaponin Ⅵ line range was between 0.4 μg and 3.28 μg (r=0.999 5). The average recovery and RSD of asperosaponin Ⅵ were 103.4% and 1.76%. CONCLUSION The method is simple, accurate and reliable, and can be used for the quality assess of Yugu Liaoshang capsule.
