Determination of Heavy Metals in Wild and Cultivated Lycii Cortex

    • OBJECTIVE To investigate the content of heavy metals in wild and cultivated Lycii Cortex. METHODS The sample was prepared via microwave digestion. Using atomic absorption spectroscopy to determine the content of Pb, Cd, As, Hg, Cu in wild and cultivated Lycii Cortex. RESULTS The content of heavy metal in 24 batches of wild and cultivated Lycii Cortex from different areas were determined. The recovery rates were between 94.17%-96.11%. The content of Pb, Cd, As, Hg and Cu in all of the cultivated samples were within the limitation. CONCLUSION When chosing planting area of Lycii Cortex, more attention should be paid to local ecological environment and soil quality.
