OBJECTIVE Aiming at the problem that intravenous medication cannot be effectively reviewed in the medical order review of the hospital pharmacy, this study intends to develop a secondary prescription review software, carry out pharmaceutical intervention practices on the concentration and drip rate of intravenous drugs, and explore its role and effect in rational drug use.
METHODS pharmacy intravenousadmixture services prescription review pharmacists developed and designed a secondary prescription review software according to the relevant information such as drug instructions and guidelines, the basic information of hospital information system, and the problems encountered in the current prescription and medical order review. According to the concentration and drip rate information of intravenous drugs, the review rules were established, and the review module was designed to carry out effective review of the unsuitable drugs. Evaluate the effectiveness of the software.
RESULTS The software developed for secondary prescription review could effectively examine the unreasonable phenomenon of intravenous drug concentration and drip rate, and effectively screen the category of inappropriate drugs, so as to improve the qualified rate of medical orders.
CONCLUSION The application of secondary prescription review software can give timely and accurate drug warnings for clinical use, effectively intervene in unreasonable medical orders, fill the defects of existing prescription review software, and improve the efficiency of prescription review work. To provide solid and powerful guidance for clinical drug use, ensure the rationality of clinical drug use, and highlight the service value of pharmacists.
