Advances in Pharmacological Effects of Alpha-melanocyte-stimulating Hormone

    • Alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH) is a neuroendocrine immunoregulatory peptide derived from pro-opiomelanocortin, which is distributed in the central nervous system and peripheral organs and has a wide range of physiological activities and has been developed in recent years. A lot of research has made good progress. This paper reviews the progress of its pharmacological effects in anti-inflammatory, anti-melanoma, fever, skin protection, obesity and anti-AIDS, and aims to provide reference for the development of new drugs.
